在上海青浦三元河菜场,春笋、蚕豆、韭菜、荠菜等各类时令蔬菜纷纷上市,摊主忙前忙后张罗着。众多春菜中,香椿头最“金贵”,金山石化城区的蒙山路菜场,不少摊位都把扎成小捆的香椿头摆放在显眼位置,价格在60到90元左右一斤。在浦东周浦镇新公元菜场里,几乎每个摊位上都有新鲜的春笋在卖,价格在6元左右一斤。吃春菜也是民间迎春的一种民俗,被称为“咬春”“嚼春”。

此外,水芹、荠菜、马兰头,也都是江南人家喜爱的春菜。在浦东惠南镇王家滩菜市场,不少人都会采挖野生荠菜拿来销售。相比大棚种植,野生荠菜叶茎不够翠绿、小苗还有点干瘦,但是口感更加香醇,吸引了不少市民大老远跑来选购。
